BizCover, Australia’s leading online business insurance platform is proud to accept the Star Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Award for the second consecutive year.
This award is part of a string of success for BizCover at the Insurance Business Awards 2024. The company also won Outstanding Service Award and received a nomination in the Philanthropy & Community Service category.
BizCover’s DE&I policy, also known as its BizEDI policy, is built on four pillars: employee well-being, multiculturalism, gender equality, and LGBTQ+ pride. BizCover’s BizEDI policy have not only enriched the company’s workplace culture, but also contributed to its year-over-year growth in customer acquisition and employee expansion.
2023 was a standout year for BizCover. The company led several high-impact initiatives, such as the International Women’s Day High Tea and partnership with One&All Hub, a centre for individuals with mixed abilities.
The company also took a bold step in DE&I advocacy by transforming its CEO and General Manager into drag queens for a day. This move sparked widespread attention from media outlets like the Daily Mail, and received over 20,000 views on YouTube.
